# Is there a completely free LinkedIn automation tool?

> OutreachGenie is free without a product-side action quota. Other $0 tools have different ceilings. LinkedIn's rules still govern what you can do.

## In brief

- OutreachGenie currently offers its workspace for $0 without a product-side action quota or paid plan.
- Other free tools in this comparison cap invitations, profile visits, execution time, exports, or contact-data credits.
- A product allowance does not override LinkedIn's rules on scraping and unauthorized automation.

## The short answer

Yes. OutreachGenie currently provides its LinkedIn outreach workspace for $0, with no paid plan and no product-side quota on invites, messages, visits, lists, or flows. Other free tools in this comparison limit invitations, profile visits, runtime, exports, or contact-data credits. LinkedIn's own rules still apply to all of them.

OutreachGenie's pricing page says it is free forever, with no paid plan or product-side action quota. That is the product's published offer as checked on 23 September 2026. It does not mean unlimited permission to act on LinkedIn. The company cannot waive another platform's rules or restrictions.

For any tool, check both questions: what does the software charge or cap, and what activity does LinkedIn permit?

## Free plans solve different jobs

Free LinkedIn tools are often compared as if they were interchangeable. They are not. One organizes a prospect list, another visits profiles, another enriches contact records, and another runs general browser workflows. The word free says nothing about which job is included.

- Many permanent free tiers stay available but limit a unit such as actions, invitations, credits, runtime, or exports.
- A trial offers broader access for a fixed period, then moves the account to a smaller free plan or requires payment.
- A single-job tool may remain free because it handles only profile visits, post previews, contact lookup, or another narrow step.

## What OutreachGenie includes at $0

I build OutreachGenie (https://www.outreachgenie.ai/). This is a first-party description of the product I work on, not an independent review. The pricing and feature details below come from its public pages.

The workspace includes prospect lists, source context and notes, outreach flows, campaigns, analytics, and the browser companion. The product keeps collection, list review, sequence design, and campaign results in one place. Its published pricing page says there is no product-side quota on invites, messages, visits, lists, or flows.

That workspace is useful when the spreadsheet has become the problem. A founder or recruiter can keep the reason a prospect was saved beside the list, inspect the order of visits, waits, invitations, messages, and reply checks, then see what ran and what remains. If a small spreadsheet already handles that job, software may add more setup than value.

## What the other free plans actually include

These plan details were checked on 23 September 2026. Vendor pricing changes, so open the linked source before choosing a tool.

- Waalaxy lists a €0 plan with 80 invitations and 25 Email Finder credits per month. Its limiting unit is monthly activity and enrichment credit, not access to an unlimited campaign runner.
- Dux-Soup's free Starter Edition allows up to 100 profile visits a day. Its own guide says that tier does not include connection requests with a message. It is a profile-visiting tool at that level, not a free end-to-end sequence.
- PhantomBuster gives new accounts a 14-day trial. Its ongoing free plan then provides one automation slot, 30 minutes of execution time per month, and 50 MB of storage. Free-plan and trial exports are limited to 10 rows at a time.
- Kaspr's free plan is mainly for contact-data enrichment. It includes monthly email, phone, and export credits, plus lead-management features. That can fill a data gap, but it is not the same job as organizing and monitoring an outreach sequence.

## LinkedIn's rules do not turn into a daily quota

LinkedIn says it does not allow third-party software or browser extensions that scrape, modify, or automate activity on its website. Section 8.2 of its current User Agreement prohibits unauthorized automated methods used to access the service, add or download contacts, send or redirect messages, or drive inauthentic engagement.

The official pages checked for this article do not publish one daily number that makes unauthorized automation permitted. Limits quoted by vendors and blogs are their operating suggestions, not authorization from LinkedIn. A delay, a working-hours window, or a different IP address does not change the rule.

LinkedIn also says invitation restrictions commonly follow too many invitations to people the sender does not know or too many invitations in a short period. Its guidance is to connect with people you know and trust, explain the connection, and use InMail where appropriate. A tool cannot turn a weak reason to contact someone into a strong one.

For the recipient-side standard, use the review-before-send LinkedIn outreach checklist (/articles/ethical-linkedin-outreach-best-practices). It covers relevance, source context, refusal, and human review without inventing a safe-volume promise.

## Test the workflow before testing volume

A useful free-plan evaluation does not need a large live campaign. Start with a small set of records you already have the right to use, or with test data. The aim is to find out whether the workspace improves the decision process before any action is sent through LinkedIn.

- Write one sentence describing who belongs on the list and why. Reject records that need guesswork to qualify.
- Import or enter a small batch and check whether each record keeps its source, note, current role, and suppression status.
- Build a draft sequence and inspect every step without launching it. Confirm that replies, refusals, warnings, and missing information have a stop path.
- Compare the result with the spreadsheet or manual process it would replace. Count missing context, duplicate work, review time, and unclear ownership.

## Choose by the first limit you will hit

OutreachGenie covers lists, context, flow design, and campaign tracking in one workspace. Dux-Soup's free tier focuses on profile visits. PhantomBuster can test a general automation inside a small runtime allowance. Kaspr addresses business contact data. A spreadsheet and manual LinkedIn use remain a valid $0 option for a small list. Check LinkedIn's rules before using any tool that acts on its website.

Before paying for an alternative, name the limit that is blocking real work. It might be execution time, export size, contact-data credit, team handoff, or maintenance. If the paid plan does not remove that exact constraint, the upgrade will not solve the problem.

Measure the outcome with LinkedIn outreach metrics that do not reward spam (/articles/measure-linkedin-outreach-without-rewarding-spam). A free tool is worthwhile when it helps the operator choose better prospects, preserve context, stop at the right time, and learn from replies. Zero dollars does not rescue a process that should not run.
